Dear Aberdeen Rays Families,

Welcome to an exciting summer with the Aberdeen Rays Swim Team! We are thrilled to have you join us for a season full of fun, teamwork, and growth in the water.

Our coaches are dedicated to helping each swimmer improve their skills, build confidence, and most importantly—enjoy being part of a supportive team community.

Season Highlights:

• Registration Check-in for those paying by check/cash: Monday, 4/20/26 at 4:30

• Team Evaluations for NEW swimmers: Monday, 4/20/26 at 4:30 PM
• First Practice: Tuesday, 4/21/26 (group times will be emailed by Monday night)
• Group 1: 4:30-5:00 PM
• Group 2: 5:00-5:45 PM
• Group 3: 5:45-6:30 PM
• Swim Uniform Fittings: Wednesday & Thursday 4/22-4/23/2026. Please ensure attendance to make sure your swimmer is properly fitted.

• Parent Orientation (ALL PARENTS): Monday, 4/27/26 during your child’s respective practice time.
• Mock Meet: May 7th, 2026 Location: Aberdeen Amenity Center Time: TBA
• First Swim Meet: May 16, 2026
• End-of-Season Championship Meet: July 10-11, 2026
• Team Banquet & Awards: July 12, 2026 Location: TBD

What to Expect:
Swimmers will participate in regular practices, develop stroke technique, and compete in friendly meets throughout the season. We emphasize sportsmanship, effort, and having fun while building lasting friendships. Please read our 2026 Aberdeen Rays Parent Handbook as it is full of great information especially for new parents and swimmers!

Parent Involvement:
Our team relies on amazing parent volunteers to help run meets and events. There will be many opportunities to get involved, and we truly appreciate your support in making this season a success. Details of volunteering requirements will be provided during respective Parent Orientation sessions 4/27/2026.
