⚠️ URGENT: Tomorrow's Meet (June 6th) — Important Last-Minute Update

Hi Aberdeen Rays Families,
We are reaching out immediately with an urgent update for tomorrow's meet on June 6th.Unfortunately, we will not be traveling to South Hampton tomorrow. Coach Lauren and I were just informed by the South Hampton HOA board that they will not be approving use of their facilities. We were told everything was in place and we were good to go — this decision came at the very last minute and was completely out of our hands, and out of the Hurricanes swim team's hands. We wanted to get this to you as fast as possible.
BUT THE MEET IS STILL ON — RIGHT HERE AT HOME.Coach Lauren, fellow coaches, the board and I immediately got to work on a solution. We will be hosting our own meet at our pool at the same time — a virtual meet. Times will be collected and it counts. We are not letting our swimmers' hard work go unrecognized.
UPDATED MEET SCHEDULE – SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH- 6:30–7:00 a.m. — Arrival & Check-in
- 7:00–7:25 a.m. — Warm-ups
- 7:30 a.m. — National Anthem & Meet Begins
- 9:30 a.m. — Estimated Conclusion
WHAT TO KNOW- Ready bench and swimmer seating will be set up as normal
- No tents will be allowed on the deck for this meet
- New Heat sheets will be emailed by morning if not sooner
WE NEED ALL HANDS ON DECKWe are pulling this together tonight and need a few extra volunteers tomorrow morning. If you can help, please reach out right now — every set of hands matters.
